Klathoa is one of the Small Kingdoms, located to the north of Lamum and Thurion, which was visited by Irith the Flyer (whilst accompanied by Kelder of Shulara, Ezdral the Sot and Asha of Amramion) in her search for a counterspell to Fendel's Infatuous Love Spell. Unusually this kingdom is ruled by witches, who have banned all other magics, in defiance of the Wizard's Guild's rules on rulers being able to use magic. The reasons for this exception to this otherwise rigidly enforced rule are unknown.
