Mavi of Newmarket was the wife of Chairman Hanner of the Council of Warlocks. Mavi had become friends with Lady Nerra, Hanner's sister, which is how they met. While they had known each other for a little while prior their relationship started on the Night of Madness shortly before Hanner himself became a warlock. The events which followed that night complicated their involvement, but ultimately their relationship grew and they were married and had children.
Following Hanner being Called in YS 5219 Hanner was presumed dead, as all Called warlocks were. While she waited for two years to see if he might return she ultimately remarried, effectively ending her marriage to Hanner.
